Last Friday the electricians were here and finished the rough electrical.
The recessed lighting is in place and all the wiring has been run.

Sean, if your inquiry was directed towards me, I was also unaware of the combo units until we started trying to find an ac unit. By then we were set on the fireplace, it is costing us more than the other options we looked at, but I think that we will really enjoy it.
The other options we considered included running ducts, electric baseboard, and electric oil or hydronic heat. It was our contractors who suggested the fireplace, and I think Krista and I both decided that was what we wanted in the span of about ten minutes.
